SIMPLE GUIDELINES FOR SUBMISSION

LPS Photo Service requires image files to be in jpg format. It is strongly suggested that you keep the original file and send us a copy. When saving a jpg file in Photoshop, save it with the compression setting set to a maximum quality — 12. Image file size saved in a jpg format should be between 1.6 and 2.5 Mb for proofing and 4 to 8 Mb for print sizes 8x10 to 20x24.

LPS uses a color managed workflow. In order to match our system; files should be in sRGB color space. To ensure your files are in sRGB is to set your Photoshop color setting sRGB working space as sRGB. Your digital camera color space should also be in sRGB.

When renaming your files please do not use symbols such as tilde (~), slash (/or\), pound (#), parentheses ( () ), question mark (?) or copyright symbol in the file name or the name of the CD. These symbols are not compatible with our production system. File name should not be more then 31 characters including extension.

If you work in Photoshop, Corel, The Gimp or any other raster-based programs, be sure to send only flattened jpg images.

If you color correct your own images, it is recommended using a color calibrated monitor. Our monitors are calibrated to a sRGB color space, with a color matchtemperature set at 6500k.
